About the role#
Integra FEC is looking for a Research Analyst Intern to join our team in Austin for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside our quantitative analysts to improve our methods for investigating fraud. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Review academic research and news articles covering financial, securities, and healthcare fraud.
- Identify emerging fraud trends by monitoring news, social media, and other public sources.
- Examine specific fraud cases, including the analysis of individual organizations or institutions.
- Gather publicly available data and information to support our investigations.
- Compile and summarize your research findings for the team.
- Complete additional tasks as needed to support business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Economics, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Political Science.
- Previous experience conducting research related to fraud.
- The ability to analyze academic papers and news articles effectively.
- Familiarity with financial and healthcare systems.
- Proficiency in gathering and summarizing data.
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
