About the role#
Integra FEC is looking for a Research Analyst Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside quantitative analysts to develop and improve methods for investigating fraud. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Review academic research and news articles covering financial, securities, and health care fraud.
- Identify emerging fraud trends by monitoring news, social media, and other sources.
- Analyze specific cases of fraud, including the evaluation of organizations, entities, and institutions.
- Gather publicly available data and information to support investigations.
- Compile and summarize research findings.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support business operations.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with data gathering.
- Ability to conduct independent research on fraud-related topics.
- Willingness to collaborate with quantitative analysts.
- Current authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (we do not offer visa sponsorship).
- Background in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
