About the role#
The Exemplary Student Research Program (ESRP) Teacher facilitates a school-year long team research experience for high school students. This is a full-time, paid internship position based on-site in Lemont, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate team research experiences for high school students.
- Coordinate with Argonne researchers to support program objectives.
- Support student learning within a professional research environment.
What you'll need#
- Hold a valid state teaching certificate for grades 9-12.
- Must be selected for participation in the current ESRP program.
- Documented experience in teaching high school students.
- Academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Engineering, or Mathematics.
