About the role#
This position offers hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. You will work under supervision to develop skills and assist with research activities. This is a year-round, part-time role requiring up to 19 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic laboratory maintenance tasks such as washing glassware and autoclaving equipment.
- Prepare necessary media and solutions.
- Support staff with assigned experimental procedures.
- Contribute to ongoing research projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in high school, an associate program, a bachelor program, or a master program.
- A strong interest in research and scientific inquiry.
- Previous experience in laboratory maintenance is helpful but not required.
- Academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Psychology.

- Compensation: $17.75 to $20.40 per hour, depending on experience.
