About the role#
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is looking for a Finance and Accounting intern to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work within our Corporate Finance division for 8 to 12 weeks, gaining exposure to financial reporting, planning, analysis, and operational accounting.
What you'll do#
- Develop knowledge across various finance and accounting functions.
- Learn our established accounting and reporting policies.
- Assist with general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Support ad hoc financial production requests.
- Contribute to the production of external financial results.
- Build your professional network by connecting with peers and experienced finance professionals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college student studying accounting, finance, or a related technical field.
- You have strong attention to detail and solid time management skills.
- You take initiative and work well as part of a team.
