About the role#
This IT Internship is based in our Canton, Massachusetts office. You will join our Corporate IT team as a member of an Agile Scrum group. Over the course of 8 to 10 weeks, you will experience the full systems development life cycle across various applications. The position is part-time and begins in early June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with professionals to design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions.
- Work on Business Intelligence tasks including reports, ETL, and cubes.
- Build and maintain web applications, web services, and scripts.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Explain complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Focus on learning and contributing to team goals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- You have completed relevant Computer Science coursework or possess equivalent self-taught experience.
- Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with relational databases, including writing queries and understanding tables, views, stored procedures, and keys.
- Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred.
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming, scripting, source control, continuous integration, testing, and reporting tools is a plus.
