About the role#
This co-op position supports the Life Cycle Engineering team in Acton. You will work with cross-functional groups including systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers. The role focuses on investigating device reliability, qualifying new suppliers, and supporting product development. You will have a dedicated manager to help you reach your professional development goals.
What you'll do#
- Operate lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and high-speed cameras to identify bugs and perform root cause analysis.
- Design test procedures and perform custom tests to support design enhancements.
- Analyze data to support qualification activities.
- Manage project documentation, including protocols, reports, and design history file records.
- Assist or lead Engineering Change Orders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited BS program in biomedical, electrical, computer, chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with clear communication and documentation skills.
