About the role#
Join the Development Strategy team at Insomniac Games to support project management, legal clearance, and asset coordination. You will work with legal, development, and production teams to identify, document, and manage game assets and approval requests. This role provides practical experience in cross-functional project management and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Review, update, and maintain Confluence documentation for legal request pipelines.
- Collaborate with Legal and internal teams to understand the clearance by design process.
- Document requirements, workflows, and decision points for asset approval.
- Assist with coordinating and tracking the acquisition of graphics, textures, and other materials.
- Ensure required legal reviews and approvals are completed.
- Track action items, coordinate follow-ups, and communicate project updates.
- Identify, catalog, and document video game assets within the internal asset management system.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in a field such as game development, production, or project management.
- Six to twelve months of related experience or training.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to document processes, track tasks, and work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Foundational math skills including percentages, proportions, basic algebra, and geometry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to bug tracking databases like DevTrack, TFS, or Jira is preferred.
- Exposure to version control software, with Perforce preferred.

- Location: Burbank, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12-week period).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid at $36.50 per hour.
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
