About the role#
This co-op position offers hands-on experience within the IBM Consulting team. You will support client projects, gain industry insights, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives. This role is designed to build your professional skills through coaching and mentorship, with the potential to transition into the full-time Associates program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Conduct primary research to help clients navigate market trends and refine competitive strategies.
- Design models to support operational improvements and process efficiency.
- Support workshops, meetings, and interviews to document client requirements.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to capture and synthesize project information.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, client-relevant terms.
- Drive the adoption of key performance indicators with client stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Business Administration or Economics with a record of academic success.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage workloads in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and effective active listening skills.
- A growth mindset with the initiative to seek new knowledge.
- Willingness to adapt and take ownership of tasks and challenges.
- Interest in strategy, business transformation, or experience consulting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in University Park, Pennsylvania.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- You must be able to work on-site in State College, PA.
- You may be required to travel or relocate during academic breaks.
- This is a paid, full-time opportunity.
