About the role#
As a REEE Technician Student, you will handle the administration of contracts and grants for Registered Education Savings Plans. This is a part-time student position with a six-month contract duration.
What you'll do#
- Process daily tasks including EAP letters, jurisdiction changes, and commitment defaults.
- Generate and send correspondence to clients and advisors.
- Analyze error reports from RESP grant deposit files and manage follow-ups in the task system.
- Correct non-financial RESP issues, such as name or Social Insurance Number errors.
- Perform quality control on financial and non-financial transactions.
- Keep team procedures current and suggest improvements to contract administration.
- Implement approved process improvements.
- Stay updated on administration rules and RESP product plan changes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a DEC or a bachelor degree in administration, financial services, or a related field.
- Advanced French proficiency and intermediate English proficiency for written communication.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong learning agility and clear writing skills.
