About the role#
The Hylant Summer Internship Program offers hands-on experience in insurance sales and risk management. You will join a cohort of interns to build professional skills, learn about insurance products, and gain exposure to client consultations. This is a full-time, paid position designed to provide practical experience and professional development within our team.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify potential leads using Hubspot.
- Maintain and update lead databases and CRM systems.
- Assist with email campaigns and create promotional content or social media posts.
- Schedule meetings and follow-ups for Client Executives.
- Organize and attend community events or webinars.
- Track marketing campaign effectiveness and sales metrics.
- Prepare performance reports and analyze sales data to identify trends.
- Shadow Client Executives during client meetings and consultations.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
- Support client retention efforts and maintain communication logs.
- Participate in the Hylant Innovation Challenge to present business solutions to leadership.
- Complete a six-week self-guided course on insurance terminology and industry practices.
What you'll need#
- Current standing as a junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited university, or graduation within the past seven months.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong interest in a long-term career in the insurance industry.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer (sponsorship is not provided).
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communications.
- Participation in extracurricular activities or previous part-time work experience is recommended.
