About the role#
This internship offers a summer of hands-on experience within a corporate business function at Hylant. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to projects, and build business skills. Opportunities are available in areas such as Talent, Marketing, or Administration. You will gain exposure to the operations that support the organization while participating in professional development courses and the Hylant Innovation Challenge.
What you'll do#
- Support a corporate business function within the company.
- Participate in a six-week Intro to Insurance self-guided course.
- Engage in professional development courses throughout the summer.
- Work collaboratively with mentors and company leaders.
- Contribute to the Hylant Innovation Challenge by consulting with executive leadership on business solutions.
- Meet with clients, carriers, and vendors through shadowing and site visits.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university, or graduation within the past seven months.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Major in Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, IT, Business, HR, or Communications preferred.
- Interest in a long-term career in insurance.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer (sponsorship is not provided).
- Involvement in extracurricular activities or part-time work is recommended.

- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Juniors and seniors may be eligible to apply for a $5,000 scholarship upon successful completion of the program.
