About the role#
The Client Service Internship at Hylant offers a summer program designed to provide practical experience in the insurance industry. You will join a cohort of interns to build skills, work with mentors, and gain exposure to insurance operations. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Process insurance applications and certificates of insurance.
- Organize and maintain client records and documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal use.
- Perform data entry and manage policy information databases.
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups with clients or agents.
- Review insurance policies for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct market research and analyze data.
- Shadow account managers and service team members.
- Attend training sessions on insurance products, compliance, and systems.
- Support the team on various projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university, or graduation within the past seven months.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Interest in a long-term career in the insurance industry.
- Extracurricular involvement or part-time work experience is recommended.
- Majors such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communications are welcome.
- Ability to work on-site at one of our specified office locations.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer (sponsorship is not provided).
