    About the role#

    This Engineering Co-Op position offers hands-on experience within the chemical manufacturing industry. You will work on engineering projects from June through December 2027, gaining exposure to both capital projects and daily maintenance activities. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform technical analysis for assigned projects.
    • Assist with the implementation of capital projects and maintenance tasks.
    • Manage network and system diagrams, perform code analysis, and monitor system performance.
    • Document engineering processes and findings.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving improvements, including waste reduction and raw material qualification.
    • Work on cycle-time reductions and quality improvements to increase capacity.
    • Evaluate and execute site energy reduction and sustainability initiatives.
    • Complete engineering clerical tasks as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Power Point.
    • Good presentation skills are preferred.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills are preferred, as you may have the opportunity to lead installation crews.

    • Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin.
    • Term: Summer and Fall 2027 (June through December).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time position.
