About the role#
As a Golf Operations Associate, you will learn how to run golf tournaments through active involvement in all phases of event management. You will work under the supervision of Tournament Directors and staff to handle everything from initial course setup to final breakdown. This role requires extensive travel across the country to manage events on-site. When not traveling, you will participate in business operations training led by our senior leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to players and their families.
- Manage tournament setup, including marking courses, setting tee and hole locations, and arranging scoreboards and utility equipment.
- Handle starting and scoring for players.
- Officiate rules on the course and manage pace of play.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- You must receive at least one academic credit for this internship.
- Good standing with your college or university.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of golf is preferred.

- This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The term runs from January through May 2027.
- This is an unpaid, full-time internship.
- This role is on-site and requires regular travel.
