About the role#
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will complete routine, entry-level engineering tasks and assist with various engineering projects. At the conclusion of the internship, you will prepare and present a summary of your experience to the management team.
What you'll do#
- Lead and deploy best practices within the manufacturing process.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across various manufacturing processes.
- Work to reduce manufacturing costs.
- Improve the flow of material.
- Set up cycle times.
What you'll need#
- A 2-year technical degree or current enrollment in a 4-year Engineering degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Aerospace).
- A basic understanding of CAD.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of the engineering change process.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
