About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on introduction to software engineering within the algorithmic trading industry. You will work on independent programming projects while receiving mentorship and participating in structured training. The program offers insight into global financial markets and the research infrastructure that supports our trading operations.
What you'll do#
- Write code using Python, C, or C++.
- Transition into real technical projects within your first week.
- Engage with fellow interns through team events and office activities.
- Learn about the technical facets of our trading systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience programming in Python, C, or C++.
- Ability to write code that is readable, elegant, and efficient.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- No prior knowledge of trading or financial markets is required.

- Locations: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York, NY.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: The role is paid and includes company-provided housing and meals.
