About the role#
This internship focuses on endpoint platform security for modern computing environments. You will support innovation in edge AI and explore new technologies to improve security, performance, and the overall user experience. This role is intended for conversion to a full-time position, contingent on performance and available headcount.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test software components for endpoint security solutions.
- Support AI and machine learning initiatives on endpoint devices.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
- Translate technical requirements into software solutions.
- Assist with debugging, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Evaluate how AI can enhance security, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with software engineering, security, and product teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
- Must have no more than 24 months of prior professional work experience related to this role.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 without requiring future sponsorship.
- Programming experience with Python and at least one of the following: C++, C#, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and version-control practices.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI productivity tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and work collaboratively.
- Exposure to UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, endpoint security concepts, edge AI, operating systems, and computer architecture is preferred.

- Compensation: $35 to $40 per hour.
