About the role#
The Enterprise Operations Engineering Internship is a 12-week summer program based in Spring, Texas. This role focuses on optimizing supply chain processes and supporting operational initiatives. You will work on projects that bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world supply chain management. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and map supply chain processes using the SCOR model framework.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for process optimization.
- Support the implementation of supply chain initiatives, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Collect and analyze data to track key performance indicators.
- Evaluate new supply chain concepts for potential adoption.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Conduct sourcing market research to identify innovative products.
- Design sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and implement new quality control processes.
- Use analytics to build data-driven financial and operational models.
What you'll need#
- Completed 3rd year of a Bachelor's degree or 1st year of a Master's program.
- Full-time enrollment at an accredited university.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 without future sponsorship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply the SCOR model to identify process gaps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Sharepoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to managing tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Preferred majors include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, and Computer Science.
