About the role#
Howmet Aerospace is hiring an intern for the Corporate Information Technology team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This 12-week program during Summer 2027 offers paid work experience, networking, and project-based assignments.
What you'll do#
- Build a Power App, specifically focusing on a BPO Certification application.
- Develop a training process for owners of PowerApps and SharePoint sites regarding their ownership responsibilities.
- Organize the current Power App environment into a more SDLC-appropriate space to improve development and maintenance standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related IT field.
- Expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Participation in at least one extracurricular activity.
- Demonstrated experience through internships, work, research, or extracurriculars.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- A willingness to learn and take initiative to understand the business.
- Preferred: Previous IT internship with a global employer, project management skills, problem-solving aptitude, and leadership experience.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
- Modality: Hybrid with remote work capability.
- Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Relocation: A $3,600 stipend is provided for students located 50+ miles from the internship site.
