About the role#
As a Finance Intern at Howmet Aerospace, you will gain practical experience by working closely with our finance team. You will contribute to real-world projects and develop skills to prepare you for a career in finance. This is a 12-week, full-time internship program.
What you'll do#
- Assist in analyzing financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Utilize Excel to perform account reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and optimize savings plans.
- Assist in generating financial reports and presentations.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the Controller.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to lawfully obtain access to export-controlled items.
