    About the role#

    The House of Commons hires students throughout the year for various service areas. This program offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios within a parliamentary environment. Students work on projects across fields including communications, political science, business administration, graphic design, and cybersecurity. This is a paid, full-time position involving hands-on experience and professional skill development under expert guidance.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide administrative support across various service areas.
    • Contribute to projects and participate in activities related to your field of study.
    • Apply academic knowledge to practical, real-world tasks.
    • Enhance professional skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrolment as a student at an accredited post-secondary institution.
    • Fluency in both English and French.
    • Minimum age of 16.
    • Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid study permit for international students.
    • Ability to provide proof of enrolment during the hiring process.
