    About the role#

    The House of Commons of Canada offers a student employment program designed to blend academic learning with professional experience. Students work within various service areas, contributing to projects while gaining exposure to the operations of a legislative institution. This program allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios while working alongside experienced professionals.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to meaningful projects across diverse service areas, including Computer Science, Communications, Graphic Design, Political Science, and Data Science.
    • Provide administrative support and client service.
    • Participate in stimulating activities within the organization.
    • Collaborate with experienced professionals in your field of study.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrolment as a student in a secondary or post-secondary accredited academic institution.
    • Fluency in both English and French.
    • Minimum age of 16.
    • Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid study permit for international students.
    • Ability to provide proof of enrolment during the hiring process.
