About the role#
As a Software Engineer Co-Op at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real-world projects. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and learn new technologies in a supportive environment. This is a full-time, paid position that offers exposure to software development processes and professional growth opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and test software applications.
- Write code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Participate in peer reviews and code reviews to share and receive feedback on code quality.
- Design, develop, and demo software as needed within a delivery team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Must continue enrollment in your degree program after the Co-Op ends.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or asylum/refugee status.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for learning and following industry trends.

- Location: Pittsford, New York, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $20 to $45 per hour.
