About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world engineering projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to solve technical challenges and develop skills for your future career. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
- Conduct research and analysis to support ongoing engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems.
- Participate in testing and validation activities.
- Gain exposure to industry-standard tools and software.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Must continue enrollment in your degree program after the internship ends.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws.
- Ability to work without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site role.
- Relocation benefits and short-term housing are available for eligible candidates living 50 miles or more from the assigned work location.
