About the role#
Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates complex software applications. As an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience by contributing to active AI projects. You will work alongside engineers and researchers to develop and implement solutions, gaining practical insight into the field while applying your academic knowledge in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Model, build, and test AI software to process large datasets and achieve specific results.
- Use Python, JavaScript, and C++ to create faster and more capable AI systems.
- Evaluate statistics, data, and algorithms to increase productivity for assets, people, and processes in industrial use cases.
- Collaborate with machine-learning and data engineers to develop and integrate AI solutions.
- Stay informed on current AI knowledge, industry trends, and relevant regulations.
- Collect, organize, and present project progress to team leadership and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field.
- Must graduate in December 2027 or later and remain enrolled in your degree program after the co-op.
- Validated academic excellence with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Understanding of data science, linear algebra, algorithms, and statistics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop efficient software using Python, JavaScript, and C++.
- Experience developing and deploying end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
- Familiarity with data warehousing.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly base range of $25.50 to $45.00.
- Relocation: Relocation benefits and short-term housing are provided if your assigned work location is 50 miles or more from your current residence.
