About the role#
Join the HITT Futures Program as a Commercial Construction Intern. This 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in construction management. You will work alongside project managers and superintendents to support project delivery. The program includes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support project delivery tasks with project managers and superintendents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, track materials, and manage files.
- Draft submittals, RFIs, and change orders for document control.
- Assist in soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids.
- Review construction drawings and verify site conditions.
- Aid in progress reporting and internal team updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week duration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn project-specific software systems.
- Exceptional focus on customer and client needs.

- Compensation: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
