Recruiting Intern (Spring/Summer 2026)

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Talent Acquisition function at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. The role supports the staffing of over 5,000 part-time and seasonal positions, assisting both the College Relations and Professional Recruitment teams. The internship runs from March 2026 through August 2026, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week across 2-3 office days.

What you'll do#

• Execute recruitment plans by researching and posting job openings to various boards.
• Communicate with prospective candidates via email, telephone, and messaging platforms.
• Assist with candidate review and data entry within the applicant tracking system.
• Track, enter, and distribute resumes and applicant correspondence following recruitment events.
• Represent the company at recruitment-related events and assist candidates with the application and hiring process.
• Support sourcing campaigns and candidate outreach for high-priority job requisitions.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends to accommodate recruitment events.

• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
• Housing: Company-coordinated housing is available for interns extending through Summer 2026 for a weekly fee of $160, plus a one-time $180 housing fee (including a refundable deposit and insurance waiver).
