About the role#
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the auditing profession by supporting operational, compliance, and financial audit initiatives. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week internship based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, running from late-May to mid-August 2026.
What you'll do#
- Conduct audit testing procedures and prepare work papers to document findings and conclusions.
- Assist in the identification of risks and related internal controls.
- Analyze large volumes of data using tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare draft audit reports for review by corporate internal audit management.
- Provide recommendations based on audit findings and observations.
- Perform special projects, trend analyses, and administrative duties including data entry and flow charting.
- Present regular status reports to internal audit management.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to high ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Location & details#
- Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Press Building.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional evening, weekend, or holiday hours as needed.
