Internal Audit Intern

About the role#

As an Internal Audit Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the auditing profession by supporting operational, compliance, and financial audit initiatives. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week internship based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, running from late-May to mid-August 2026.

What you'll do#

• Conduct audit testing procedures and prepare work papers to document findings and conclusions.
• Assist in the identification of risks and related internal controls.
• Analyze large volumes of data using tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare draft audit reports for review by corporate internal audit management.
• Provide recommendations based on audit findings and observations.
• Perform special projects, trend analyses, and administrative duties including data entry and flow charting.
• Present regular status reports to internal audit management.

What you'll need#

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to high ethical standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Location & details#

• Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: On-site at the Press Building.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional evening, weekend, or holiday hours as needed.
