Corporate Accounting Intern

About the role#

The Corporate Accounting internship provides hands-on experience within the finance and accounting functions at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company. Interns support the Corporate Accounting team with daily processes, collaborate with operational partners, and participate in professional development opportunities, including networking and speaker events.

What you'll do#

• Perform routine monthly accounting tasks, such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Review Profit and Loss (P&L) results and analyze variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare workpapers and deliverables for annual audits and other engagements.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and special projects involving data gathering, validation, and visualization.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operational partners to meet schedules and deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Location & details#

• Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May through mid-August).
• Modality: On-site, up to 40 hours per week.
• Status: Paid, full-time internship.
