About the role#
As a GNC & Flight Software Engineering Intern, you will support the development, implementation, and testing of flight software and guidance, navigation, and control systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. This role is for candidates with a strong software background and exposure to GNC, or those with a GNC background and hands-on software experience.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and implementation of flight software and guidance and control algorithms.
- Implement, integrate, and test control algorithms in simulation, embedded, and hardware-integrated environments.
- Assist with control law development, tuning, and validation for vehicle stability and performance.
- Develop software interfaces, messaging, and integrations between flight and mission subsystems.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot system behavior, and support improvements to software and control performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with C++, C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar programming and engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
