This internship is part of the Talent Development team within the Human Resources department at Hermès. You will support the employee engagement function, contributing to internal communications, event planning, and recognition programs. As a participant in the Generation H program, you will receive mentorship, attend a guest-speaker series, and collaborate on a capstone project throughout the five-month term.
What you'll do#
- Partner on writing internal announcements and narrative editorials for the global employee-facing intranet and digital signage system.
- Maintain the local intranet site and app by publishing, updating, and removing content, while coordinating with department publishers.
- Assist in the ideation, planning, and execution of internal employee events, including managing invitations, catering, decor, and on-site setup.
- Support the management and execution of internal recognition programs, including annual awards, anniversary celebrations, and digital appreciation boards.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Strong interest in a career path within human resources, internal communications, or special events.
- Creative mindset with excellent written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Location & details#
- Location: Manhattan, New York, USA.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship at the Hermès US corporate headquarters.
- Duration: July 13, 2026, through December 18, 2026.
- Compensation: Paid at an hourly rate of $20.00.
- Schedule: Available as full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (15 to 35 hours per week) to accommodate academic schedules.
