    About the role#

    This internship offers hands-on experience within the metal packaging industry. You will work in a laboratory setting to support product development and innovation. This is a full-time, paid position based in Madison Heights, Michigan, running from January 11, 2027, through August 13, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Create product formulations in the laboratory.
    • Test formulations to evaluate their performance and quality.
    • Assist in developing and validating new test methods.
    • Contribute to new product development projects.
    • Learn about industry standards and innovation opportunities.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to support formulation and testing tasks.

    What you'll need#

    • Current undergraduate status as a Junior or Senior.
    • A degree path in Chemistry.
    • Ability to research and develop solutions independently in a lab.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for scientific ideas.
    • Experience presenting data and findings to stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail and a focus on hands-on experimentation.

    • Location: Madison Heights, MI.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $22-$27 per hour.
    • Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
    • Note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship, housing stipends, or relocation support.
