About the role#
Healthpeak Properties, Inc. offers a 10-week summer internship for undergraduate students interested in real estate investing. You will work directly with the Investments team to gain experience in life science, medical office, and senior housing sectors. This role involves exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, developments, and portfolio management. You will work alongside professionals with backgrounds in private equity, investment banking, and strategy.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and execute new investment opportunities, including joint ventures and real estate debt.
- Perform underwriting and cash flow analysis for various deal types.
- Build and refine financial models using Excel and Argus.
- Support due diligence efforts and conduct market research.
- Prepare presentations and materials for internal investment committee meetings and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with asset management, development, legal, and finance teams.
- Contribute to strategic special projects and portfolio reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status pursuing a Bachelor degree, with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific emphasis on Excel skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel to various property tours across the country.
