About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program for the summer of 2027. You will work with our analyst team to support various operating divisions, providing real-time financial support and analysis. You will act as a partner to the business while gaining hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment.
What you'll do#
- Gather, analyze, and report on budget, expense data, and financial performance metrics.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for Internal Operations.
- Use computer-assisted analytical and forecasting techniques.
- Own specific components of project work and deliverables.
- Conduct research and develop recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on departmental initiatives.
- Deliver a final presentation to department leadership regarding your project results.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Corporate Integrity, and compliance policies.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Your graduation date is between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- You possess strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- You are proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- You have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior internship, work, volunteer, or leadership experience is a plus.
- An interest in the health insurance industry is preferred.
