About the role#
As a Procurement Intern in the Project Delivery Group, you will work from our Houston office to support global project teams. You will gain hands-on experience in the procurement lifecycle, from managing bidder lists to executing final contracts. This role involves collaborating with engineers, planners, and logistics teams to ensure project requirements are met.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between the Package Coordinator, Planner, and Logistics teams to verify technical specs, lead times, and delivery terms.
- Prepare commercial bid documents, including contractual terms, delivery requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage the prequalification of bidders and maintain the integrity of the bid process.
- Log bid questions, issue addenda, and coordinate technical and commercial evaluations.
- Review vendor comments and negotiate commercial terms, Incoterms, and payment milestones.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders or contracts for execution.
- Support senior engineers and designers with project drawings and detailed design tasks.
- Gain exposure to cost control, schedule compliance, and invoice auditing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite, including at remote project locations.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is a plus.
- Ability to provide an official or unofficial transcript upon application.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Houston, Texas.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
- The role follows a rolling term structure.
