About the role#
As a Mechanical/Piping Engineering Intern, you will work within the Project Delivery Group to support engineering projects. You will report to the team in Pittsburgh and assist with technical tasks that contribute to our global operations. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering calculations, including hydraulic modeling, stress analysis, and equipment or tank sizing.
- Ensure all technical analyses meet system and user requirements.
- Create technical specifications, data sheets, and engineering lists.
- Review project standard specifications and design criteria.
- Provide input for 2D mechanical drawings and support the preparation of detailed designs based on specifications.
- Coordinate with other engineers and technicians on project tasks.
- Provide direct support to senior engineers and designers as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams and an understanding of inter-discipline project requirements.
- A desire to learn and apply technical knowledge to practical problems.
- Availability to travel as needed to support business operations.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site, in-office role, though some flexibility for remote work may be discussed with your manager.
