Student Aide-Athletic Training and Equipment Room

About the role#

The Athletics and Fitness department at Harper College is seeking a dependable and motivated student aide to support the daily operations of the Athletic Department. This hands-on position is ideal for students interested in athletics, sports medicine, or event operations. You will support 13 collegiate teams and assist with the efficient functioning of the department.

What you'll do#

• Assist with game day setup and breakdown for seasonal sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball.
• Help maintain and organize athletic equipment and supplies.
• Provide general support in the Athletic Training room under the supervision of an athletic trainer.
• Complete administrative or operational tasks to assist in the daily workflow of the department.
• Support facility-related duties and event logistics.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current Harper College student.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
