Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic in Jacksonville. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Interns will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care in a supportive environment.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered in accordance with company policies.

What you'll need#

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
