About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic network. This role is open to individuals with a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. This is a paid, full-time independent contractor position that offers the flexibility to work both on-site in Orlando and remotely.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health conditions.
- Utilize various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with company policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

- Schedule: Flexible hours; offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth, with additional telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday.
