Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic– CSW / MHC / MFT/ Independent Contractor

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic network. This role is open to individuals with a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. This is a paid, full-time independent contractor position that offers the flexibility to work both on-site in Orlando and remotely.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health conditions.
• Utilize various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you'll need#

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

• Schedule: Flexible hours; offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth, with additional telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday.
