Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient mental health clinic in Tampa. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services to patients aged five and older.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health conditions.
• Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with company policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.

What you'll need#

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

• Term: Rolling.
• Schedule: As an independent contractor, you determine your working hours. The office is open for in-person and telehealth appointments Monday through Thursday, with options for telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday. Employees may work up to 50% via telemedicine.
