About the role#
Halff is seeking a Landscape Architecture Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects and planners to support public and private projects. These include parks, trails, urban plazas, streetscapes, and land development. You will contribute to projects from the early planning stages through construction documentation.
What you'll do#
- Participate in site inventory and analysis.
- Produce conceptual site planning and graphics using hand and digital methods.
- Create schematic design plans, construction document plans, and project details.
- Assist with project research and data compilation.
- Produce quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates.
- Prepare technical specifications for bid documents.
- Develop landscape compliance documents for land development projects.
- Create maps and graphic renderings to support planning initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture.
- Strong design and graphic skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
- High motivation to learn and contribute to team goals.
Location & details#
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid, hourly position.
