About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is seeking an Environmental Services intern to work with our team in Parsippany. This internship provides an opportunity to work on real projects while gaining hands-on experience in the field and the office. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support our environmental consulting efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist with environmental field efforts, including soil and groundwater sampling.
- Prepare well construction and soil boring logs.
- Write report sections for ongoing projects.
- Participate in professional development workshops covering topics like resume writing and interview skills.
- Present your project results and learning outcomes to managers and the leadership team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor or master degree program.
- Sophomore status or higher.
- Studies in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related area.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
- A willingness to learn and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.

- Location: Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to August 13).
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship.
- Compensation: $19.25 to $27.00 per hour.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
