About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is seeking a student intern to join our Civil Engineering Division in Suffern, New York. This paid internship offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on active projects. You will participate in professional development workshops and complete a final presentation regarding your project results and learning outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Gather and compile project data.
- Assist project managers with the creation of construction drawings and specifications.
- Perform computer drafting tasks using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Participate in professional development seminars on topics such as resume writing and interview skills.
- Complete a final presentation detailing your achievements and project work.
- Handle other administrative and project-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a sophomore or higher in an accredited institution.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the field.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in Suffern, New York.
- The internship term runs from June 7th to August 13th, 2027.
- Compensation is $19.25 to $27.00 per hour.
- This is a full-time position.
