About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship program based in our San Francisco office. You will work 40 hours per week, on-site, as part of a specialty underwriting team. The role focuses on building your business and communication skills through hands-on experience in commercial, personal, or professional lines of insurance.
What you'll do#
- Join agent marketing calls and sit in on client meetings.
- Help with the insurance policy renewal process.
- Track new business and renewals using Microsoft Excel.
- Identify the best programs or markets to meet the needs of agency clients.
- Communicate loss notices and policy changes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate student at an accredited university.
- A degree path in Risk Management and Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
