Student Dietary Associate - Food & Nutrition

About the role#

The Student Dietary Associate supports the food and nutrition team by providing meal services to patients and staff. This part-time, on-site role is designed for students interested in healthcare and nutrition.

What you'll do#

• Prepare assembly line stations for patient supper tray service.
• Assemble food items for patient trays based on marked menus.
• Transport food carts to and from designated patient floors.
• Collect and transport waste from dietary and cafeteria areas to disposal sites.
• Clean and sanitize dishware, pots, and pans according to department procedures.
• Maintain safe work practices by utilizing proper body mechanics.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand both written and oral communication.
• While previous experience is helpful, it is not required.
• Preferred fields of study include Nursing, Nutrition, or Health Administration.
