About the role#
The Guardian Summer Internship is a 10-week paid program based in Boston. This role sits within the Group Benefits Product Management team. You will work on projects that impact our business while gaining experience in the financial services industry. You will have the chance to interact with senior leaders and build a professional network. This is a full-time, on-site position running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze absence, product KPIs, and customer data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Research regulatory, client, and competitor trends related to FMLA, ADA, and State Leave programs.
- Support the Absence Roadmap, ACE Digital Experience, and various go-to-market deliverables.
- Learn about Guardian's products, services, and company values through daily business tasks.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to develop your professional skills.
- Ask questions and think broadly about data and business information.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- An analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data work.
- Ability to manage priorities, learn quickly, and turn insights into recommendations.
- Interest in product management, employee benefits, or financial services.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour.
