About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work on-site in either Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, or New York, New York. During this time, you will gain exposure to the daily operations of our actuarial teams and work on projects that support our business goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with actuarial tasks like pricing or valuation.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other software to analyze data.
- Present your findings and work to a broader audience.
- Learn about our company purpose, values, and product offerings.
- Build a professional network and connect with mentors and team members.
- Ask questions and think broadly about data and facts.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam.
- Curiosity regarding problem solving.
- Technical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Majors in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
