About the role#
As a Marketing Associate Intern for the Severe Asthma and Nasal Polyps portfolio, you will support the planning and execution of strategic and operational priorities. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager to contribute to omnichannel marketing, performance analytics, and cross-functional project management. This role offers the opportunity to manage defined workstreams and build your professional capabilities through coaching and feedback in a regulated healthcare environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and delivery of promotional tactics, tools, and customer journeys across various channels.
- Partner with digital, sales, and agency teams to assist with campaign activation and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate customer and field insights and translate findings into practical actions.
- Maintain KPI reporting and analyze channel and marketing-tool usage.
- Support Marketing Mix Model activities, including data collection, validation, and budget-allocation discussions.
- Measure the performance of key tactics and prepare insights to support decision-making.
- Manage Content Lab workflows to ensure efficient review and approval of marketing materials.
- Track approvals and re-approvals to flag upcoming risks or required actions.
- Assist with budget management by tracking expenses, purchase orders, and invoices, while collaborating with Finance on monthly accruals.
- Coordinate team forums, including business-planning workshops and marketing huddles.
- Independently manage defined workstreams, timelines, and project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program in business, marketing, life sciences, biotechnology, analytics, or a related field.
- Eligibility for an internship or co-op placement.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn quickly, and seek feedback.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest or experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated-industry marketing is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization, dashboards, CRM, or omnichannel platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to project management, budget tracking, or marketing tool approval processes is preferred.
- French and English capability is an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
- The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
- You will be based in either Mississauga, Ontario, or Montréal, Quebec.
