About the role#
The Marketing & Strategy Intern will join the Cardiovascular Platform team to support two primary workstreams: evaluating adjacent market opportunities and advancing voice-of-customer research. This role offers hands-on experience with strategic marketing, market sizing, and customer insight work within a global medical technology company. You will have the opportunity to apply AI tools to address real business problems.
What you'll do#
- Complete opportunity and business cases for key adjacent markets, including market sizing and competitive assessments.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to validate assumptions for new market opportunities.
- Provide recommendations on strategy and tactics for market growth.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, Sales, and Regulatory to stress-test assessments.
- Use AI tools to develop and maintain a project dashboard for leadership.
- Synthesize research findings into executive-ready presentations and business case materials.
- Support the design and project management of voice-of-customer research, including survey development.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify customer pain points and key themes.
- Use AI tools to support the dissemination of research findings across the organization.
- Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product and commercial teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, or a related field (rising junior or senior preferred).
- Experience with AI tools for research, analysis, or content synthesis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise recommendations.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare, medical technology, or life sciences is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship (40 hours per week) during Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
- Compensation is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.
